Summary from a Different Point of View
Odysseus encounters many adventures and one is when the pass the Sirens and don't stop. This will be told from the Sirens point of view.
Our voices are like magic, innocent people want to hear us but then they have to stay and face death. They can be like a magnetic force. That is why, when Odysseus came around, we didn't expect what would happen. It began like any other day, we saw some sailors and thought they would come around. But we were wrong. It was like they didn't even hear us. What was happening? Suddenly we saw Odysseus tied to a pole begging to be let out to come to us. But his crew did nothing. When he pleaded, they pulled the ropes tighter against his arms and legs. How do they not hear us? We sang louder and louder, yet they went on their normal route with Odysseus wanting to stop so badly. This was a first for us, no one had ever passed us and survived. How is this happening? Why aren't they turning to us? It was a new experience and one we all hope to never have again.
